Artist and owner Lauren Hartley started All Dog Kind in June 2018 with the intention of helping people celebrate any occasion with their dog. She creates original art and handmade accessories in her home studio. Lauren enjoys using playful colors, putting memories into pattern design, and sourcing sustainable materials.

Lauren Hartley (she/her)
Lauren is the artist and owner behind All Dog Kind. She considers All Dog Kind to be the legacy of her rescue dogs Jack and Sophie. She is passionate about creating joy and seeing her dogs run free in nature. Lauren is based in Seattle, WA where she lives with her spouse and their two adorable rescue pups – Gus and Pete.
Jack, Former CEO
Jack is the cutie pie you see featured in All Dog Kind’s logo. Lauren’s heart dog. After over 13 years together, Jack passed in 2019 at the age of 15. Lauren hopes to honor his memory through All Dog Kind’s work. Miss you big guy!
Sophie, Former CFO
After 16.5 years together, Sophie passed in 2024 with many an adventure and road trip under her belt. Sophie was a gentle, beautiful, and sassy soul. All Dog Kind is now both her and Jack’s legacy. She is terribly missed.
Gus, Top Model
Gus is a smart sweet talented boy. He’s working on reactivity and teaching us all a lot along the way. He joined the family in 2018 from Seattle Humane. Gus will happily model for cookies or a game of fetch - any day, any time.
Pete, Studio Manager
This scruffy adorable creature came into our lives in 2020. Thank you OTAT PDX and The Underground Dog! Pete has shown us he is an adventure dog at heart. He is shy but it is magic to see his full personality shine.
