I'm really proud of the above photo. July 2019 was the one year anniversary of submitting my LLC paperwork for All Dog Kind. And this Ballard Seafood Fest booth marked a big milestone for my business. A few months prior, I found out I'd be participating in Ballard Seafood Fest. It would be my biggest event to date by far - a two day annual event that boasts an attendance of 75,000 people. Needless to say I was nervous but ready to step up and represent my little business well. So I got to work on booth design. I would be sharing a 10' x 10' booth with fellow artist and maker Sam of Samantha Slater Studios. We worked together to make sure each of our 10' x 5' spaces complimented each other. We intentionaly crafted a welcoming and fun booth. We tested the flow of the final booth design at Fremont Sunday Market. So when the big weekend rolled around, it all came together beautifully! I had an incredible sales day and met tons of amazing people at Seafood Fest. This booth is jam packed with love and DIY. It features...
All that effort continued to pay off. I was able to feature the booth design in other 10' x 5' events, like the one above. I also got to use my new fancy tall pegboard displays for 10' x 10' events like the photo below! Even adapting them to do well at outdoor events.
I'm excited to keep pushing forward and keep improving my display. It feels like a precious and important way to get the story of my business out into the world.
